PROJECTS WITH A PURPOSE:

At Aiken Active Seniors, we believe that everyone benefits when we are able to give back to the community. To give our seniors that sense of doing good for others, we participate in projects that will benefit someone in our area.


Here are just a few of those projects:

  • Building Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child
  • Sending Valentine's Day Cards to Hospice Patients
  • Stuffing eggs for a Fundraising Easter Egg Hunt
  • Christmas Cards for Veterans
  • Sending Special Occasion Handmade Cards
  • Cutting Box Tops for Local Schools
  • Collecting Aluminum Tabs for Ronald McDonald House
  • Annual Teacher Appreciation Project
  • Repurposing and Repairing Jewelry for Goodwill
  • Virtual Dementia Tour: free event for the public
  • SRS Safety Expo
  • Aiken County Employee Health and Safety Expo
  • Senior Extravaganza
  • Dictionary delivery to Lloyd Kennedy School for the Arts on behalf of the Rotary Club of Aiken
  • AAS is an annual drop off site for Toys for Tots
